A chapel, the Georgskapelle, stood at this point until 1895, in which services were held for the Georgsweiler from time to time. It fell into disrepair in the middle of the 19th century and was completely dismantled by 1895. In the 20th century, when a garden was laid out, the associated cemetery was found. Today only a cross reminds of the chapel, which is so important for Georgsweiler.
