It's especially interesting when a large ship is being built there. The Disney Destiny had just been undocked on our tour, so we could admire it in the shipyard's harbor basin.

In the Ems floodplain nature reserve between Rhede and Papenburg (Ems floodplains north and south), you can constantly observe the river's natural course. Discover the pristine landscape of the oxbow lakes and an unusually diverse birdlife. Binoculars are recommended. The trails here are easy to cycle.
