Large site with a few construction sites here and there. Still nice to look at.

There are all kinds of tools here. I used the station to add a little more pressure. The pump creates a good amount of air but the barometer is not accurate. Still works perfectly

Landestrost Castle was built between 1573 and 1584 by Duke Erich II of Brunswick-Lüneburg as a representative residential building in the Weser Renaissance style. The castle is one of the most beautiful buildings in this style. In the historic official garden at the castle, you can see the remains of a baroque garden, the 250-year-old hornbeam hedge, also known as the green vault, and a well-preserved fortress wall/bastion.

The church was built in the 13th century as a Romanesque basilica. Around 1500, it was renovated and Gothicized by Duke Erich I. It wasn't until the 19th century that it received the tower it still has today. I also particularly like the small "living room corner" with its couch and desk.

First mention of the Cistercian monastery in 1207. Today it is a gospel. Women's monastery in Mariensee. The church and the cloister can be visited in the monastery.

Good surface on the K343, the bridge over the Leine is easy to step on :-)

It has been a place of spiritual life for women for 800 years.
