Great view of the castle.

If you are travelling by bike, you should be careful on the bridge as some of the wooden planks are missing!!

You can run directly on the leash, although this is a little more difficult or easier depending on how high the grass is, or you can run a few meters further to the left in the forest on a path without any vegetation. Both routes are more like an easy trail run, but are still easy to run.

The plastered hall church made of quarry stone was built in 1856 by extending the nave of the medieval predecessor building. The transversely rectangular neo-Romanesque church tower was added to the nave in 1885. All windows were redesigned. The interior is covered with a trapezoidal raised ceiling. The surrounding galleries stand on delicate cast-iron supports decorated with tendrils. The church furnishings were completely renewed in 1856, including the pulpit altar with its figure-decorated pulpit basket. Only the octagonal baptismal font from the beginning of the 16th century, the chandelier from 1682 and the epitaphs remained. The organ was built by Philipp Furtwängler & Sons. Crossing the old wooden bridge over the Leine and driving through the meadows with views of the castle are worth it.
