Branching off from the ridge path, this narrow trail descends directly into the slope. At the end is the parking lot at Steinberg. A perfect conclusion to a single-trail tour in Steinberg. It's also worth starting a tour at the parking lot.

A great destination for nature lovers of all ages! Free parking, and no entry fee for the enclosures and playground 😄 The money saved will then be spent on food at the Kupferschmiede restaurant, but on the one hand, this is avoidable, and on the other, it's worth it because the quality of the food and service is excellent! A lovely outing.

A great place for a family outing. The kids can play and look at the local animals. There are places to stop for refreshments and plenty of places to sit for the parents. The whole thing can be kept going for a donation. There is a donation box on site to help maintain this beautiful facility. OUR TIP: SUPER 👌🤝🙏

The game reserve is located on the wooded Steinberg in the Hildesheim district of Ochtersum. It has a size of around 60,000 m², has existed since February 27, 1968, and is home to over 300 animals.
