Rahden Castle ruins, once a moated castle with a mighty moat, look back on over 570 years of history, and their remaining walls hint at the former grandeur of the complex. Here you can discover parts of the former castle as well as the well-preserved coat of arms of the von dem Bussche family, who played a significant role in the late 14th century. Nestled in the charming landscape of the Minden-Lübbecke district, the historic ruins invite you to a fascinating break amidst nature and the past.

A lovely playground, almost directly on the shores of Lake Dümmer. And thanks to the tall slide tower, it's not only an eye-catcher but also a landmark.
