Due to its location, the inn has a rather small menu, which can be found on the notice boards on the building. There are a few small dishes like a Mett (meat or cheese platter), soups, but often also two or three warm, regular dishes that change regularly. The cuisine remains consistently regional. The prices are a bit higher, but not excessively expensive considering the location and the complex transportation of food by regular vehicles. In the separate gallery for the Hanstein residents, there is also a display case containing the trophies and medals won by Fritz Huschke von Hanstein.

The Margaretenkirche was built in 1718 as the manor church of the Hansteiners. Due to the need for repairs to the church, especially to the roof, tower and windows, a final service took place in the fall of 1976. The two church bells from 1355 and 1422 were taken from the tower, which was in danger of collapsing, and hung in a free-standing bell tower in the parish garden. To complete the ringing, a third bell was cast. Since 1986, renovation has been carried out by the GDR's Monument Preservation Office. The church initially stood empty before it was re-consecrated in 1992.
