Getting to Lake Templin is by no means easy, except in the area of the Templin lido, where you have to pay a fee. There's one free spot right next to the entrance and relatively close to the road, but this one is almost unbeatably beautiful, truly idyllic. In the bay between the lido (on the headland) and the railway embankment, the water is quite shallow, so you can hardly swim properly in the open spots, but you can tread water very well. Be careful: the lake has a few pebbles, but overall it has a wonderfully firm sandy bottom.
