The Undercliff national nature reserve is a seven-mile stretch of fairly unescapable woodland between Lyme Regis and Axmouth. It's formed in an area of landslip between the solid cliff tops at the edges of fields and the beach below. As such, the path that runs through it is changeable as the earth moves. It's a wonderful but committing run.

The Town Mill Bakery is brilliant! The eat in or take away breakfast, brunch, lunch or cakes are amazing, and the coffee and tea options are great. It's a really fun communal atmosphere with huge tables to share and well-cooked food. Open 8:30 - 15:00 but closed Tue and Wed.

Lyme Regis is a very pretty and interesting seaside town. The seafront has a concrete pedestrian promenade along its full length, this makes a great run if you are early/late enough to avoid the crowds. There are plenty of ice cream sellers or cafés if you need a refuel, but I recommend the Town Mill bakery on Coombe Street.
