A beautiful reservoir just to the west of Corby with great views and a smooth gravel track. Eyebrook was also used as practise from the Dambusters during WW2. See if you can find the plaque.

Steady climb from great Easton with great views of the eye Brook reservoir and around to Nevill Holt

Lovely place for a picnic, but be aware that most of the routes out involve some serious climbing for this part of the world. Like Norfolk, not all Rutland is as flat as many think.
