Atlantis is suspended in a special section of the building at an angle of 43.21 degrees, with its payload bay doors open and its extendable Canadarm—just as one would see it from space, for example, after docking with the International Space Station. The Kennedy Space Center is a must-see for anyone even remotely interested in space travel. If you have children of the right age, the annual pass is also worth it; after two full days, you've seen everything in brief and then hopefully have time for extra tours. Be sure to book these early; there are almost no more available on site!
