Access to the pond and swimming are free of charge. There is a children's swimming area, a playground, and a bathing island in the pond. For the past few years, swimming may not be possible in summer due to low water levels. In extreme dry weather, the pond's outflow is opened to ensure that the river mussels get enough water.
