Too hard for thin road bike tires. I ride cyclocross, and I find that a bit of a challenge. Some sections are quite rocky and large. Concentration is key.

The small observation tower is located on the edge of the bird sanctuary and not far from the lively beaches of the airport lake. The tower seats several people. The view extends across the airport lake to the former Tegel Airport.

The Tegeler Fließ is a wetland with diverse flora and fauna, which provides a habitat for rare animal species such as the kingfisher and the European pond turtle. In the Berlin section, it is surrounded by a well-developed hiking trail, which partly leads over such beautiful bridges through the idyllic river landscape.
