This is the connecting ditch between the Todnitz and Zeesen lakes (Fanggraben). A few meters further north of the B179 bridge over the ditch is the Körbiskrug lock.

Very nice and quiet location!

Easily accessible, you can sit outside at the wine barn and enjoy a break! You can always see your bike and there is also a pond here.

This stop is generally open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and offers the best steak and burgers in the area! Definitely worth checking out!

The path along the water between Sperlingsweg and Kuckucksweg is closed and new houses are being built there.

On the southern shore of the Pätzer Hintersee there are large moor areas that have been secured as a nature reserve. The path now leads north. An idiosyncratic pine forest with crooked trees is called Schweinewinkel. This is where the pigs used to be driven into the forest to the Waldwiede. Walking through the Pätz Hintersee settlement, you return to the starting point at the train station. The Pätzer Vordersee is an approximately 1.7 km² large body of water inBestensee, Dahme-Spreewald district. It is part of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park and the conservation area of the same name. The lake is part of the Dahme river system. It has a connection to the Pätzer Hintersee in the south and to the Todnitzsee in the north via the Glunze. The sluice between Vordersee and Todnitzsee was replaced by a modern weir with a weir and a fishway, as the Pätz chain of lakes is to be made passable again for migratory fish.
