The castle is free to visit. Please note the opening hours. There's a wedding room in the castle tower, and breathtaking views of the surrounding area can be enjoyed from the top of the tower. You can even see the Lahn River from up there. 😘

There's a road you can take to Nassau Castle by car 🥳😜. Please be careful there, as the lane won't have enough room for two cars if another car is coming the other way. There are passing bays here and there. Or you can take the path through the forest on foot 🤗. The Lahn hiking trail also runs partway there 🌞🫶😄

Beautiful architecture.

The house looks more interesting in the photo than in reality. But the deep mill stream running through Miehlen is something special.

Unfortunately, it's covered in scaffolding - as can happen with leaning towers.

On the southeastern outskirts of Dausenau is the so-called Leaning Tower. It is part of the medieval city wall at the exit toward Nassau. After the town was granted city rights in 1348, the construction of a fortification was probably completed in 1359. Originally, the hexagonal tower, made of rubble masonry, was about 25 meters high.
