A nice campsite. But: the lake has lost about 2 meters of water. The beach, however, isn't so bad. There's pleasant sand for swimming.

In 1907, a rowing ferry first operated where the fishermen of Feldberg once had their boat berth. Since 1977, the cable ferry, welded together from old combine harvester parts, has been operating here. As one of the last hand-operated cable ferries in Europe, it is a real rarity. The small cable ferry takes you comfortably from one bank to the other across the narrow Luzin with ferryman Tom. Opening hours of the Luzin ferry: In October daily from 12 to 5 p.m., Wednesday is a day off (closed in rainy weather). November to April only by telephone appointment on: 0170-3070128.
