From here, you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Alpine foothills and the Alpine chain. Even the ascent is very scenic. The pilgrimage church of the Assumption of Mary dominates the summit plateau.

Herrsching has a wonderful promenade along the lake. There's a great beer garden right on the water at the steamer pier. Just be careful with the beer, otherwise the bike ride home will be tough.
