The church of the island town of Malchow is known as a landmark with its exciting history. Before the church was built at its current location, it was located on the island near the town hall. Due to the poor structural condition of this “island church” and the marshy subsoil, the pastor at the time, Ferdinand Stolzenburg, decided to launch an initiative to build a new church on the mainland, because the majority of the population had already moved there.

Schloss Lebbin is the manor house of the former Gutshof Lebbin in today's municipality of Göhren-Lebbin, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. The original building, erected in 1842, was badly damaged by a fire in 1912, most of the remains were demolished and replaced by a more representative new building in the neo-baroque style. Today it houses the "Schlosshotel Fleesensee".
