St. Mary's Church, construction began in the 13th century, is the visible landmark of Wittstock. From the tower you have a good view of the town and the surrounding area. The altar is decorated with a structure (made in 1550 by the Lübeck woodcarver Claus Berg). Above it is an altar structure (early 16th century), which probably belongs to a side altar. Also worth seeing are a late Gothic sacrament shrine, a baroque wooden baptismal font, a Lütkemüller organ, the pulpit and the Madonna sculpture.

But it is very cramped in places. There is room for 1.5 cars. In the season it can get tight. Especially when there is oncoming traffic or when no consideration is given to cyclists, hikers, runners, etc.

Very beautiful route between Wesenberg and Drossedow, unfortunately the section through Drossedow and beyond towards Canow is very bumpy - but the scenery is great.
