The last small climb to the Jochalm with the magnificent panorama of the Reißkofel is the most beautiful part of the ride up.

No matter how short, deep, or cold: crossing a stream on bikes is always a fun undertaking for me, even if, as in this case, it's over before it even begins. Feet up and across with plenty of momentum!

The 2,371-meter-high Reißkofel is the highest peak in the Reißkofel Group and towers majestically into the sky. After a drive through the forest, you'll have a good view of the south face of the mountain range.

The Reisacher Jochalm is located at an altitude of 1,554 meters on an exposed, treeless ridge below the dominating Reisskofel mountain. From the alpine pasture, you can enjoy a sweeping view of the Gailtal Valley. The pasture is open from May to September and offers homemade dairy products, bacon, and sausages, as well as cold drinks.
