🚲✨ Surenburgへ続く森の小道は、Münsterland北部で最も雰囲気のある区間のひとつです。水城を緑のベルトのように囲む、広大で荘厳な森の中を通り抜けます。

🚲 🛤️ The Rheine–Langenhorst railway cycle path is a section of the former Rheine–Ochtrup railway line. Today it is an essential part of the so-called "Triangle", a modern cycle route network in the northern Münsterland region.

🌟 Highlights along the way Buchenberg: This is the central ridge of the forest. Here you'll find numerous winding paths off the main trails, perfect for mountain bikers (see also the Steinfurt Bike Park on the edge of the forest) or for forest bathing. Haddorf Lakes (near Wettringen): If you start your tour in Wettringen, a short detour to the Haddorf Lakes with their heather and sandy beach is well worth it. Bagno Park (near Burgsteinfurt): The forest path seamlessly transitions into the historic Bagno grounds. You'll pass the concert gallery and eventually arrive directly at Steinfurt Water Castle. Viewpoints: At several points, the forest opens up, revealing views across the expansive Münsterland parkland towards Rheine or Metelen.

🚴 The Münsterland Cycle Route is one of the flagship projects for cycle tourism in the Münsterland region. It runs along a former railway line from Rheine to Coesfeld (or vice versa) and offers a first-class cycling experience.
