The windmill at Gut Manhagen (built in 1832, source: Gut Manhagen) is a historic smock mill and part of the listed estate complex in the Westensee Nature Park. The mill stands on the estate grounds and is not readily visible from public footpaths, thus appearing as a rather hidden testament to the region's agricultural heritage.

The grounds of the old monastery are home to many old and majestic trees. The site is well-preserved and maintained.

If you follow the track plate path between Gut Manhagen & Pohlsee, you will pass this small bay with a small bench that invites you to linger and take a break with a beautiful view of the Pohlsee.

The Brahmsee is a typical flatland or lowland lake in the center of Schleswig-Holstein. It is located about 20 km southwest of the state capital Kiel in the Westensee Nature Park, is about 100 hectares in size and up to 10.4 m deep.

I like the pretty building of the primary school. Pupils from Langwedel, Blocksdorf and Dätgen are taught here.
