The alternation between high and low water levels is particularly well known for Lake Einfeld, where so-called “hunger stones” become visible at extremely low water levels.

A multi-generational space is being built in Nortorf's city park. The park also has a tennis court. From there you can get to the Bellerbek nature reserve and the swing golf course at the Landhotel Möllnhagen/Schülp.
