On this section you hike through the Pöhler enclosure. The forest area between Schleswig and Schuby is characterized by deciduous forest. During the 1st Schleswig War in 1848, Danish and German-Schleswig-Holstein troops fought against each other here. Today you can walk through the forest in peace and quiet.

Here at the large swimming area you can have a wonderful stop and enjoy ice cream, cakes, coffee and snacks. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the lake. Everything was very clean and tidy with a super friendly service. Absolutely recommended.
