Absolute highlight when you ride the RK1 of the Fläming Skate! When you stand on the wooden castle, you can see the Petkus radio tower on the horizon far to the west. This gives you an idea of the size and width of the Fläming Skate 🤩 I always stop there to let my eyes wander... a dream!

There are good ups and downs on both sides of Schlenzer, so the name "mountain village" is appropriate. There is not much going on here - the "book scales" are the biggest attraction along the route. You have to make a detour further up to get to the inn or the church.

There are many such beautiful rest areas on the various Fläming-Skate circuits.
