April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, is the best time to walk along here. You don't have to be too scared, because the different types of cherries ripen at different times, so the blossoming period is correspondingly long. If you're not afraid of the crowds at harvest time, then you'll still find a good time to snack yourself. 😉
