ferry at Nessersluis, Waverveen on the Amstel. Cross for 0.85 cents and then you are in Uithoorn. Otherwise a nice rural detour.

Nice underpass route by bike or on foot to avoid busy crossings

The Bosbaan, built in 1937, is the oldest artificial rowing course in the world and a popular place for rowing training and competitions. From the shore near the restaurant you can often see rowers training hard or competing here. Follow the paths along the water to experience the activity up close, or walk further into the Amsterdamse Bos for a peaceful walk through nature.

A charming village on the Amstel, with atmospheric quays, historic buildings and cozy terraces along the water. Uithoorn is perfect for a break during a relaxing bike ride and offers beautiful views over the river and the polder landscape.
