The Broederpoort is one of the three remaining city gates of Kampen. It is located on the park side at the end of Broederweg. On this side, there was no stone city wall, but an earthen rampart for the city's defense. The gate was moved to its current location in 1465. The original gate stood on Kampen's city canal, the Burgel.
