This is a fun, non-technical ride in its own right, and also an access route for the Capital to Tahoe Trail. Actually, it's arguably the longest access route — but it comes with the bonus of being able to bike straight to Lake Tahoe from urban Carson City.

It's a good place to turn around if you want to stay on easy, flat paths. It's also a great place to bird-watching.

This route hits several key buildings in the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the state government. The Capitol Complex contains the capitol building, the supreme court, and the state legislature. Additionally, there is the state library and archives. Various memorials and tributes to the founders and men and women of Nevada can be found around the grounds.
