After a somewhat strenuous climb, we repeatedly climb through mountain pines, with a short exposed section. Then don't miss the turnoff to the ice cave, which is very surprising and a highlight for me. Chamois are grazing and are not bothered. After the cave, a magnificent panorama. The descent is marked by repeated scree fields, making it a bit strenuous. Great tour

The ticket for Durmitor National Park is valid all day. We were able to enter 2 different parks with the same ticket. Same day, ticket is valid for 24 hours.

On the way up we stayed on the hiking path as much as possible whilst on the way back we opted for the road - mostly to make it easier for our 4-yr old son.

The surrounding trees provide shade to the lake, and the question of the name is immediately clarified. Intense green and blue tones are added in sunlight.
