Standing tall at 151 feet, the Deeds Carillon is a landmark that dominates the skyline of Dayton, and boasts the title of the largest musical instrument in the entire state. Be sure to catch one of the free daily concerts performed by a skilled carillonneur, filling the air with beautiful melodies at 10 am, noon, 2 pm, and 5 pm.

Built in 1865 by David Rohrer, a whiskey magnate from the successful Mudlick Distillery. This three-story, 15-room brick residence features impressive Italianate architecture with thick brick walls, constructed from the very bricks fired on the Rohrer farm itself. It is a private residence, but you can still admire it from the sidewalk.

Originally a gristmill, Shuey's Mill played a vital role in processing grain for the growing community. It has transitioned from its industrial past to a captivating event venue. Step inside, and you'll be transported to a different era. The exposed brick walls, wide-planked wood floors, and hand-hewn beams exude a timeless elegance.

The area is pretty hilly, so this was a good place to stop and rest. Check out the statue and look out over the golf course.
