The trail up to Corkscrew Peak is a well maintained trail, that gives you great views of the canyons and cliffs in the area. The trail is popular, so there is a good chance you will see others out on the trail

A geothermal pool within a limestone cavern, the water is a constant temperature of 33 °C (91 °F). It is believed that the caverns can go as deep as 130 meters (ca. 427 feet), although the bottom has never been mapped out.

Also Called Stewart Mountain and Stewart Peak, it is spotted with Precambrian and Paleozoic dolomite, giving it an attractive variety of colors. Because limestone is slightly soluble in rainwater, it tends to erode into natural caves and arches. You get great views of the Nopah Range to the south.

Petrack Park is 34.7 acres and is the main park in Pahrump. In fact, it is considered the largest park in the city, with a community center, playground equipment, a Lit Basketball court, swimming pool, and much more.

Engineered to offer refreshing relaxation on a warm day, there is no playground or recreation equipment. A man made stream and water feature provide the perfect setting for calm and serenity!

Ian Deutch Memorial Park, named after the late Nye County Deputy. Formally Honeysuckle, it is home to local games of little league and soccer. In the center of the park, you can enjoy an awesome picnic with friends at the BBQ pits and gazebo.

An excellent hike is for the short winter days, if you don't want to start too early in the morning, with an elevation of 2600 feet (ca. 792 meters). On your way you up will find some fun little dry waterfalls to climb on.

An abandoned golf course, Red Rock Audubon and local citizens have made an effort to convert this area into a natural preserve of sorts as 176 species have been spotted visiting the two ponds and many trees. The old fairways are being planted with trees and native plant gardens, converting this arid piece of desert into a precious green gem
