The trail is paved concrete all the way to the Marina. If you continue south to the Big Lizard Picnic Area you will find restrooms, pavilions, and beach access down to the beautiful reservoir.

There is a lot going on at City Park a dog park, a swimming pool, rides, a playground, a picnic area and a lake, all within a beautiful woodland setting.

The Civic Center Park is a popular place for recreation. There are frequent events happening as well as tennis courts, a splash park, a playground and a skate park. There's also a cafe just to the south east if you are in need of some sustenance.

Beulah Valley and the adjacent Beulah are great places to stop for something to eat and drink during a ride. Situated in the wet mountain range and all the way up at nearly 6800ft high, it's a scenic place to sample something from their coffee shop or restaurants.

During the summer you can stop for a dip at the Rock Canyon Swim Beach. Walk along a pontoon and slide into the water to cool off.

From the Liberty Point Viewpoint there are superb views over the Pueblo Reservoir and beyond to the Wet Mountain Range. Visits are recommended at either end of the day to be in with a chance to see birds of prey.

This is a gorgeous section of the Arkansas River Trail. It's hard to be believe that just a few hundred meters away to the south is suburban Pueblo.

The Arkansas River Trail passes right next to its namesake here, with a clearing to stop and admire the view or have a well earned pitstop.
