There is a bench to enjoy this view to the fullest. If you want to stay longer, you can find a flat spot nestled in the trees to pitch your tent.

The Dillon Nature Preserve is 175 acres of protected land along the eastern shore of Dillon Reservoir. The trails through the reserve are peaceful and offer panoramic views of the Tenmile and Gore Ranges.

The Tenderfoot trail system offers a great ride for mountain bikers, with shared access for hikers and runners. This spot has some of the best views along the trail of Tenderfoot Mountain area, overlooking Lake Dillon, Frisco, and Silverthorne.

The Frisco Historic Park & Museum features a collection of preserved buildings and artifacts, including 11 original structures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These include the 1902 Schoolhouse Museum, a log chapel, a jail, a trapper's cabin, and several historic homes, as well as Native American items and mining-era relics. Admission to both the park and the museum is free.

This small stretch of trail on the Peaks Trail offers a vantage point of the Mount Evans Wilderness, which encompasses two 14,000 foot mountains: Mount Evans and Mount Bierstadt.

Rainbow Lake is an easy accessible body of water off of the Peaks Trail in Frisco, Colorado. The water's edge serves as a pretty picturesque spot with high mountain peaks looming in the background. This area is known for having moose pass through on a semi-regular basis.

There are a bunch of different views of Dillon Reservoir from the Dillon Reservoir Recpath, and this one of the Blue River Cove is as good as any. The lake is a common turnaround point for people biking on a bunch of the different paved paths.

Boreas Pass via Baker's Tank Trail is a shaded trail with exposed sections sprinkled throughout. If you ride to the end (or you can just drive there via Boreas Pass Road) you will be rewarded with the Baker's Tank historic site.
