このトレイルはオンタリオ湖の岸辺に沿って走り、数多くの都市公園やビーチを結んでいます。道中、湖とトロントのスカイラインの素晴らしい景色を楽しめます。

オンタリオ湖の北岸にあるこの場所には、驚異的なスイマー、マリリン・ベルに捧げられた記念碑があります。1954年9月9日、彼女はオンタリオ湖を横断した最初の人物となり、その距離は51.5キロメートルでした。この驚くべき偉業は彼女に約21時間かかり、歴史にその名を刻みました。

A scenic pedestrian bridge spanning the mouth of the Humber River, where it meets Lake Ontario. Its elegant white arches make it one of the most photographed spots on the waterfront trails. From the middle of the bridge, you get wide views of the Toronto skyline, the lake, and the river flowing out to the bay.

The Jack Layton Ferry Terminal serves as the main gateway to the Toronto Islands and welcomes approximately 1.3 million visitors annually. The current terminal at the foot of Bay Street opened in 1972 after the previous terminal was demolished as part of the waterfront redevelopment. In 2012, it was officially renamed in honor of the late politician Jack Layton; it was originally known as the Toronto Island Ferry Docks. The terminal is the starting point of a city-operated, year-round ferry service connecting Hanlan's Point, Centre Island Park, and Ward's Island on the Toronto Islands.

The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto (formerly the Air Canada Centre) is a large entertainment venue near Lake Ontario and adjacent to Union Station. Opened in 1999, it is owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. The arena is home to the Toronto Raptors (basketball), Toronto Maple Leafs (ice hockey), and Toronto Rock (lacrosse). In addition to sporting events, it also hosts concerts and other events.
