L'Arquet is an emblematic arch with a controversial origin (some say it is Roman and others, Arab). Through here the water was transported to the Molinet de Castro, which no longer exists, but was very close.

The lighthouse was inaugurated in 1857 and used olive oil, paraffin and later petroleum as fuel. In 1924, it was electrified, but during the Civil War, it was turned off and looted. This lighthouse, with its powerful spotlight visible for several miles, has guided ships to dry land after long days at sea. Its history and location make it a historical enclave and a bastion of economic and social progress in the Villa de Oropesa del Mar. 🌟🗼🌊
