The sculpture of the anonymous pilgrim near the Church of Santiago de Taboada is a modern representation that pays tribute to all the pilgrims who have traveled and continue to travel the Camino de Santiago over the centuries. This figure symbolizes the shared experience of the thousands of pilgrims who, moved by faith, spiritual search or love of adventure, embark on this historic route to Santiago de Compostela. The artist Francisco Alén was the creator of this work, and his intention was to capture the essence of the pilgrimage: reflection, effort and connection with tradition. The figure has no distinctive features so that any pilgrim can see themselves reflected in it, regardless of their origin or personal history. It is a beautiful tribute to tradition and the untold stories of those who have passed along the way. 🚶‍♀️⛪🌞

Chapel of Nosa Señora do Faro: This chapel, of remote origins, is also located at the top of the mountain. It was remodeled and expanded over the years. On its façade, you will see a lintel door, a small flared window and a modern belfry with the image of A Virxe do Faro.
