This is a natural backwater of the Tormes River where a small sandy "beach" forms, popular as a local swimming spot. It is located within the Arribes del Tormes/Duero Natural Park, near Fermoselle (Zamora). The water is clear, cool, and refreshing, traditionally used by locals for bathing.

The Pisón Stream Bridge in Fariza is part of one of the most iconic hiking trails in the Arribes del Duero Natural Park: the Mills Route. It is a medieval bridge, possibly with a Roman base, that crosses the Pisón Stream, a tributary that fed numerous flour mills in the area.

The Hermitage of the Virgen del Castillo in Fariza, Zamora, is a place of great historical, spiritual, and scenic value, nestled in the heart of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. It sits atop a hill, offering spectacular views of the Duero canyon, right on the natural border between Spain and Portugal. Nearby is the Mirador de la Virgen del Castillo, considered one of the most beautiful in the Arribes.

The Mirador de las Barrancas, located in Fariza, in the province of Zamora, is one of the most spectacular spots in the Arribes del Duero Natural Park. It offers stunning views of the Duero River canyon, which marks the natural border between Spain and Portugal. A granite landscape with unique rock formations and a microclimate that favors Mediterranean crops such as olive trees, vineyards, and almond trees. Spot birds of prey, such as the griffon vulture and the golden eagle, which are very common in the area.

The Mirador de las Escaleras in Fermoselle is a lovely spot offering spectacular panoramic views. From here, you can take in the natural beauty of the surroundings: the rolling hills, the vineyards and the Douro River meandering through the landscape. It is a perfect spot to stop, breathe deeply and appreciate the serenity of the region.

The Yagalgüey Mill is an old mill located in the Sayago region, near Moral de Sayago, in the province of Zamora. This mill is part of the GR-14 hiking route, also known as the Senda del Duero. The mill has been rehabilitated and is in good working order, which adds additional interest to the visit.

The Arroyo de la Calabaza is a small watercourse located near the GR-14 trail, also known as the Senda del Duero. This trail is a natural path that follows the course of the Duero River throughout Castile and León, from the Picos de Urbión in Soria to the border with Portugal in Vega de Terrón.
