Short, easy hike with young children with a very beautiful view all along the way.

Very nice views along the way and the pool is really worth seeing! However, it is more or less exclusively uphill and then downhill, making it a quite sporty hike despite the short length! From the car park you can walk to the Moulin à l'eau (historic mill) in a few minutes to cool off in the cold, clear water. There is also a beautiful cycle route there.

Originally from the neighboring island of Madagascar, the chameleon also feels at home on La Réunion. His nickname is "l'Endormi", which means something like "the one who has fallen asleep".

Very beautiful basin, in the rainy season you can also see the waterfall. After having climbed from the car park, it is advisable to start on the left in the fork, and make a loop.
