Visitors are welcomed by owner Mirte Tersteeg. The church from 1840 was restored to its former glory in 2014 and can now be rented for meetings, lectures, concerts and receptions. And dinners and cooking workshops are also excellent options. You can get acquainted with all the good things that the Wadden Sea and surrounding area have to offer in terms of culinary delights.

De Raken is a region in the municipality of Het Hogeland in the Dutch province of Groningen. The hamlet is located on a dead-end road from Groot Wetsinge to the Wetsingerzijl in the Sauwerdermaar. There is a continuous bicycle connection to Garnwerd and via the Wetsingersluis over the Reitdiep to Oostum.
