The climb to the Emma Pyramid is approximately 1.5 to 2 kilometers long, depending on the route chosen, with an elevation gain of about 50 to 70 meters.

The historic city center of Doesburg feels like going back in time. The showpiece on the market is De Waag. The building, originally known as 'Nieuw Gelre' or 'Het Hoge Huis Gelria', dates from 1478.
