This excellent road with a cycleway on the smoothly asphalted surface between Burgdorf and Niederösch allows for on to be able to reach top speeds with little traffic.

Even better than the show dairy is the Meier bakery right next door! Ideal for a refreshing snack in the form of a cream cake or a Nide cake.

Moosesee

Like most of the roads in the Bern Mittelland, this one offers a very smooth surface and in the spring time the road is surrounded from the various colors of the flowers and blossoms of the rapeseed, cherry, apple and pear trees. Best time to ride here is in the Spring to take advantage of the colors.

A very smooth asphalted route which offers views of the surrounding area. At this particular sight there is a picnic table which is very inviting to take a pause and just enjoy the landscape.

Bern has very well kept asphalted streets with low automobile traffic which are perfect for cycling. I ride this stretch of smooth rode a least once a week and it is a good springboard to points North and South of Bern

A very nice asphalted road Untenen to Mattstetten, the roads in Bern seem to be well kept and very smooth. There are also a lot of commuter bicyclists coming in and out of Bern, so one is seldomly alone on the roads within a 30km radius of Bern. The city of Bern has gone to great lengths to create Vélostrassen which allow cyclists to pass through the city on complete cycleways.
