From May to September, the market takes place every last Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Landsgemeindeplatz (town square). The market women promote the vibrancy of the village of Trogen, social interaction, and the coming together of young and old from near and far.

Arbon is a municipality and the capital of the district of the same name in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland. The town[7] is located on Lake Constance and is known from a tourist perspective, primarily for its old town and lakeside promenade. The castle and castle tower are considered the town's landmarks. Arbon has Roman roots and was originally called Arbor Felix (Latin for "happy tree"). Today, Arbon is the third-largest town in the canton after Frauenfeld and Kreuzlingen. Until 1997, the local communities of Arbon and Frasnacht formed the municipal community of Arbon.

A very beautiful, recently renovated castle, but unfortunately private and not accessible. The surrounding area is also home to beautiful houses and grounds.

From this bridge (Fürstenland Bridge over the Sitter) the Kräzern Bridge, the SBB Bridge and the SOB Viaduct can be seen (south).
