A must-visit is the small medieval village of Rupit, dating back to the 15th century! Every little alley, every side path is worth exploring... some of the steps were even naturally formed by lava. I've never seen anything so impressive before. The entire village is a listed monument.

It is a privileged area both as a town and its landscape surroundings

Small town of 36 inhabitants located at the foot of the Lighthouse. There are many mountain bike routes from all over the Guilleries area.

The Rupit suspension bridge was built in 1945 by the blacksmiths Francisco and Pere, and the bricklayers Salvi Vila and Joaquín Marsal, with the purpose of having direct access to the town. It crosses the Riera de Rupit, which flows into the Susqueda reservoir.🏞️

In the main square of Rupit, we find this small viewing balcony with views of the Hermitage of Santa Magdalena.

Departure and arrival point for mountain biking, asphalted road reaches here. In the social place they serve views, coffees and you can even stay for lunch. There is a grill and you buy the meat you want to cook there. Of course, at the weekend and always after queuing for a while.

If you find yourself in Osor and raise your head in a northerly direction, you can see the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Coll under the antennas of Sant Benet. Hermitage and restaurant, it allows us to see beautiful views of the waters of Susqueda, the Lighthouse and on the other side the center of Osor and its valley that rises to Sant Miquel de Solterra.
