This refuge is named after the Restanca lake, next to which it is located. It is located at an altitude of 2010 metres in the Alto Arán. It has capacity for 80 guests, divided into six rooms. It also has hot water showers, food service and a bar.

Spectacular views of Aneto and the Cursed Mountains

In the lower lake there is an area that is simply perfect for spending the night, either with a tent or bivouac.

Col de Molières that leads to the ridge through which you access the Tuc de Molières. To cross the hill, you have to make a final climb of about 4-5 meters of elevation gain without much difficulty. I had read that dogs could do this hill without problems, but my dog (a 20kg mixed breed accustomed to the mountains and in top shape) had to be helped a little on the way up and a lot on the way down. No drama, but for some dogs it can be a delicate step.

The Tuc de Molières culminates at 3,010 meters in the Val d'Aran in Spain. This very beautiful summit offers an unobstructed panorama of the Maladeta as well as the Aneto and its glacier.

Located in the Valle de Arán region and with an altitude of 2833 m, it is the best known mountain in the Valley. Once we reach the top, we will have magnificent 360º views
