The cafe reopened in 2024, the outside seating area is great, made from old whiskey barrel staves but the outside serving area is not always open. There is now a parking fee, so bear that in mind if you are planning to start your ride from the falls.

Original stone bridge over the River Shin, now overgrown and blocked off as it is too dangerous to cross. Nice to look at from the new bridge though.

Leisure Centre with a small cafe and secondhand clothing sales etc. they also offer shower facilities in the leisure centre for weary mud encrusted adventurers for £4 - phenomenal 🙌🥳
