Plenty of parking and picnic spots here. The viewpoint is a very short walk and, there are other rights of way through the glen. From here there are also Munro that can be walked in to.

A car park isn't usually a hiker's idea of a Highlight but in this case it's warranted. This is because there are no more public roads west of here, as Glen Affric gets more and more remote. The immediate surroundings are beautiful and it's just a short stroll to a great viewpoint for Glen Affric. There are also toilet facilities here.

From the viewpoint you can see down to Loch Affric and to the Affric Lodge. A fine view towards the loch and the mountains around you. Plenty of parking at the car park below, and the path is not too steep and not too far.

This round trip is very exciting, a good visible path goes up to first peak and when you follow ridge you can make easy 7-8 summits on this tour more than 1000m. Entire trip is slightly longe than shown on my graphic, GPS signal was disturbed for about 1,5km, so entire trip is about 28km. In general the path is always visible, but a reasonable visibility would be good to see next summit for orientation.

Tom a'Choinich is a Munro mountain standing at 1,112m in height. It can be found to the south of Loch Mullardoch or north of Loch Affric. When approaching from Carn Eige, the hiker goes over multiple rocky sharp ridges which are dramatic but don't require technical climbing skills. A tiring but rewarding day out!

Sgurr Fuar-thuill (1,049m) is the furthest west of four Munro mountains that run along the north of Glen Strathfarrar. The views down to Loch Toll a'Mhuic on the descent are beautiful. To access these mountains from this valley, you must enter past a controlled gate (access to the valley is limited to a set number of vehicles per day and the opening hours vary throughout the year - make sure you don't get locked in on the wrong side)!
