The Tre Croci Pass is an Alpine pass located at 1,805 m above sea level. in the province of Belluno between Mount Cristallo to the north and Sorapiss to the south. Its name derives from a sad event that occurred in the eighteenth century: when a mother and her two children, in an attempt to reach Cortina d'Ampezzo, froze to death near the step. In memory of the event, three crosses were erected. Today this pass is very popular with cyclists and hikers due to the wide range of paths and cycle routes in the area.
