Our Lady of Montgarri

The Amics de Montgarri Refuge has an incredible history. Apart from its two buildings, the 12th century temple and the 16th century building, this place has been used as a place of lodging for shepherds and smugglers. You can book up to 35 places in its different room options with shared shower and toilet services. It also has a catering service and rental and charging for ebikes. In winter you can book snowmobile or snowshoe adventures.

Montgarri is one of those magical places found on this side of the Pyrenees. Not only because of its elegance when you get there but also because of the place, because of its location and because of the mountains that surround it. Spectacular space.

Just below the Pico de Maubèrme and where at its feet is the Lac de Montoliu is this small shelter that is now a mountain shelter in case of an unexpected storm. It's worth getting there to see him and the views he offers.

Spectacular lake found in this north-eastern area, border of the Vall d'Aran region and located at the foot of the Tuc de Maubèrme.

Enjoying nature begins right next to the parking lot at Embalse de La Serra in the Plan de Beret ski area. Cows graze on the green meadows next to the Arriu d'Esmelingàs. The mountain timeless trees so typical of the Pyrenees add thousands of pink-purple color accents to the meadows. The highlight is the countless vultures circling in the sky.

In the municipality of Salardú, at the headwaters of the Noguera Pallaresa river, we find this wide plain at an altitude of 1,860 metres, surrounded to the east by the Beret massif and to the west by the Sierra de la Comalada. It serves as a car park for the nearby Baqueira Beret ski resort, and is also the source of numerous hiking and mountain biking routes, as well as other winter activities such as alpine skiing and cross-country skiing.
