The walk is good at the beginning but the end is more complex before arriving at the alpine garden. Once you cross the reservoir you have the option of either going back up to the road or following the lake. If you follow the lake the path is very narrow and you should not be afraid of heights!🥶 However the view is magnificent.

Fortified area that gives an idea of "the wounds" that war can cause, the view is worth the climb that can also be done by mountain bike on the forest road that makes a nice wide loop and is never too steep, the descent is very beautiful but can only be done on foot.

Lake Mont Cenis is an artificial basin near the pass of the same name, on the border between Italy and France. In summer its colors are enchanting, and walking here, among the singing of the marmots and the crisp mountain air, is truly relaxing.
